Let's Get Personal....

Is it too cliche to say that music is my life?  Because that's how I feel!  (Well, next to my AMAZING husband and four SPECTACULAR kids that is.)  From the time the sun comes up to the moment my head hits the pillow, I've either got a song in my head, a tune on my lips or a jig to my step.

After getting my undergraduate degrees in K-12 Music Education and Theatre Arts from BYU-Idaho, I leaped into the wonderful world of teaching, sharing my skills and love of music with different age groups all across the USA and abroad.  I've built music programs and turned classes into choirs in the public school program for 10 years.  I spent almost 5 years singing with the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square and earned a Masters degree in Music Education along the way.  Not to mention trying to rock the world as a Mom to my own kids!

Along with my time in the classroom, I started teaching private lessons in 2005 and joined the Let's Play Music team in the summer of 2020.  I am so excited about the LPM programs and truly know the value of music education early in a child's life...so much so that my own children are in the program.
